The Marketing Specialist position is responsible for:

  • Cultivating efficient and effective marketing strategies and systems
  • Assisting with campaign development
  • Owning campaign deployment
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign and developing lead generation programs
  • Supporting the team and company with events, meetings and tradeshows
  • Maintaining promotional materials inventory
  • Managing databases
  • Generating and managing social media

The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and engaging Nth's customer base. You will create effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of our firm; while always maintaining the Nth Corporate Culture (see Appendix A). You may be required to work at different times of the day, including nights and weekends, as needed and without prior notice. This is a Non-exempt position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include, but not limited to, the following:


  • Launch and monitor all campaigns, including: digital, print and event communications
  • Collaborate with Nth and partners on marketing campaign and event development, deployment, results and project recommendations
  • Work closely with Lead Development to execute, track and report results for lead generation campaigns
  • Analyze data to determine communications deliverables are efficient and effective identify opportunities to improve content and increase engagement
  • Manage and track an active online presence for Nth through our website and social media platforms
  • Generate and maintain data report actuals for campaigns, website and other digital marketing
  • Monitor the corporate branding and strategy for uniformity in message, including templates, tag lines, and logo usage

Database Management

  • Pull data from digital sources (such as Discover.org) and scrub lists before transferring data into CRM and/or marketing database for use in campaigns and/or events
  • Maintain these databases for accuracy and growth


  • Prepare and distribute event invitations and landing pages to internal team and external clients along with follow up communication
  • Collaboratively work with the Marketing team and provide backup as needed in planning and execution of events

Graphic Design

  • Understand basic graphic design and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and web design, in order to generate collateral, make edits and updates as needed

Miscellaneous Essential Duties

  • Provides own transportation and has a reliable vehicle, which is available at all times for immediate dispatch.
  • Flexible with demands on time and able to deal with frequent and last minute scheduling changes.
  • Able to work during Nth Generation's core hours of operation, from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Flexible to come in early and/or stay late, if there are last minute requirements to perform tasks.
  • As business and operational demands dictate, additional duties may be assigned and expected to be performed.

Education and / or Experience

  • B.A. in Marketing, Advertising or related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a technology environment.
  • Proficient in use of digital marketing automation software, ideally Marketo or similar
  • Proficiency and experience with SEO, HTML, Google Analytics and web analysis tools
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Wix, Mailchimp or related
  • Intermediate proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments, travel schedules, and presentation requests in an unstructured environment.
  • Highly developed communications skills for interacting with clients and business partners effectively. Can independently handle difficult client situations.
  • Ability to maintain a courteous, professional manner with clients at all times and work well under stress.
  • Ability to interface internally with all departments and externally with outside sales, clients, and partners.
  • Ability to work effectively under remote supervision.

This position requires frequent attendance at business events that are more "social" in nature. At these times, the work environment may be a restaurant, hotel meeting or banquet room. Most work will be performed in a general office setting. Noise and ambient light are appropriate and well within normal office expectations.
